Old versus New Stories

When we want to change we have two Paths to go:
Transform the old story.
r start a new one.
The tricky thing about changing yourself is how to deal with old heavy stuff.
Do I meet it, give it space, and work it through so it eventually leaves me?
Or do I step beyond, into a higher vibration, into new, unattached stories where the heaviness no longer has a voice? Both paths are real, both have their own beauty, and both shape the way we live.

Try to transform
This sounds like: “There is something heavy within me, and I want to see it, feel it, accept it, so I can step beyond it.”
Energy: moves downward, toward the weight, because I give it attention and space.
Result: relief, healing, and a deeper sense of inner completeness, often after a long ‘healing’ process.
Risk: when awareness is not steady, the heaviness can regain momentum and influence our vibration, how we feel, and what we attract.

Stepping over it
The sound of this is: “I consciously choose a vibration beyond the heaviness; I connect with it, vibrate it, and live happily ever after.”
Energy: moves upward, stepping into a higher frequency without “fixing” the old.
Result: momentum shifts immediately into lightness, freedom, and joy, and the old simply fades from lack of attention.
Risk: especially at first, if there is still strong identification with the old, it can pull you back and unconsciously regain grip.

How do they relate?
Transforming the old looks like the old as something that wants to be acknowledged and included.
Stepping over it sees the old as something that only exists by your attention, and disappears as you withdraw that attention.
In practice, we often shift between both, although they rarely blend.

Transforming = becoming whole by including everything.
Stepping over it = being whole by feeding only the light.

Although neither path is wrong, the Intention Stories and other Transformational resources you find here are based on living from the light: living new stories with the knowing that positive momentum needs to be built to fully free ourselves.
Choosing the good-feeling thoughts and beliefs in many moments cleans up our subconscious and fills it with conscious choices.
Leaving behind all the unbeneficial and old ones, often beliefs we carry from generation to generation.
With patience and compassion and with giving ourselves the benefit of the doubt when we suddenly dive into some old piece of our history again.
Intention Stories don’t touch the old.
The more we repeat them, the more they wipe our mind clean, with lightness and peace as a result.
